Using Gift Certificates

Discounts for overnight stays, spa visits, or bike rentals: With these features in your Casona HotelManager, you can apply vouchers in a targeted manner.

Specify the Application

With the new features for creating gift certificates, you can now authorize overnight stays, booking options, and expenses for redemption.

Various voucher properties can be specified in the settings for each voucher:

• The voucher value as a percentage or monetary amount
• The areas of application (overnight stays, booking options, expenses)
• The total number of redemptions allowed (example: a total of 100 redemptions allowed for an ongoing voucher campaign)
• The time periods during which the voucher may be redeemed

Redeeming the Voucher

Guests can use vouchers when booking through the Casona BookingEngine or redeem them on-site at the hotel. The overview shows hotel staff at a glance which vouchers are valid today and can be redeemed.

In the Reservation

The sales table for a reservation shows the valid application categories for the voucher used.

Create an Invoice

The invoice line item wizard opens when you create a new invoice. Information is displayed there if a voucher is available for the reservation and is being applied.
